World Physiotherapy Day and World Duchenne Awareness Day

World Physiotherapy Day and World Duchenne Awareness Day was celebrated in the premises of CRC, Lucknow on 11.09.2024. The program was attended by staffs and students of TS Misra Medical College & Hospital and students of Special Education (more than 100 students). Sh. Rajeev Ranjan, Asst. Prof. (Sp. & Hg.), CRC, Lucknow invited the gathering and Sh. Himanshu Singh, Director, CRC, Lucknow provided the inauguration address. Sh. G. Shankar Ganesh, Lect. (PT) brief about the role of physiotherapy in rehabilitation setup and provided and insight about the scope of practice of physiotherapy. Sh. Amit Kumar, Clinical Assistant (OT) and Sh. Santosh Kumar, Clinical Assistant (PT) elaborated the gathering about the causes, signs and symptoms and multi-disciplinary rehabilitation of persons affected with DMD.
